All-Day Celebration

This year the Pan African Festival will be an all-day celebration on Saturday, September 6, 2008. Click here to see flyer describing all the planned activities.

Tradition of Family Unity

The festival's signature draws are its music, foods, and family. Over the years, 3000-5000 festival goers have enjoyed the several hours of live music . The takes place on the 82 acres of the Greater Mt. Nebo AME Church. The festival prides itself on the tradition of family unity and consistently highlights local African musicians, choirs, drummers and dancers. Aided by nearly 100 church and community volunteers, the Pan African Festival is truly a community event.
